Kelly, the founder of still soul studio, is a Charleston business executive and mom who found her life shifted when she began a yoga and meditation practice. Kelly studied meditation with Deepak Chopra and is a certified meditation teacher with the Chopra Center for Well-Being in California. Having practiced meditation at studios in Los Angeles and New York, Kelly was inspired to bring the concept to Charleston with still soul studio, a welcoming space located in the heart of Downtown Charleston for meditators of all levels. For more than 20 years, Kelly has dedicated her work and passion to helping individuals and organizations identify and achieve their goals for personal and professional excellence. She holds a B.A. in journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an M.A. in counseling psychology along with an Ed.M in IO Psychology from Columbia University in the City of New York.
Elli Richter is an international holistic life coach, healer, yoga instructor, and spark plug for change. Born and raised in Germany, Elli moved to the States in her early twenties to work as a health and fitness coach before gravitating to holistic life coaching. Elli has degrees in physiotherapy, health education, and psychology, and is certified in Yoga, Ayurveda, and lifestyle design coaching.
Caryn has over 25 years of experience working in teaching and coaching capacities and shares it with the world as a traveling Ayurvedic Health Counselor who connects clients to their innate healing wisdom. She is a published writer, public speaker, and yoga + meditation instructor. Caryn is an expert in surviving cancer, and a natural connector who inspires others daily with her vulnerability and ability to create and hold space for others. Caryn has found a unique niche where she combines her B.A. in Elementary Education, M.S. in Graphic Communications, 200+ hour Yoga Instructor Certification, and 600+ hour Ayurvedic Health Counselorship to carry out her personal mission of expanding heart-centered consciousness of the world by connecting people to their innate healing wisdom. In a culture of scarcity where nothing is ever enough, yoga gave Ashley the courage to be seen, and the freedom to speak her truth. Ashley was born in Charleston and holds a 200-hour yoga teacher certificate through yoga alliance covering Yin, meditation, prenatal, trauma sensitive, & Vinyasa. Ashley has a 9 year background as a bodywork therapist and specializes in Medical, Sports, Neuro, Swedish techniques to use the physical body as a medium to the only thing this practice is invested in: the ability and the art of letting go. With her combined therapy, meditation, and yoga practices she helps transport her students not just in their physical bodies but also helping them connect to universe at large. If you don’t see her on her yoga mat, surrounded by her sound therapy instruments, you'd probably see her chasing after her amazing three year old son Ashton.
Katie Daehler is a Yoga + Meditation Teacher, Aromatherapist, and Holistic Health Coach. She graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Spanish and has her Masters in Literacy Education. Katie spent 10 years in bilingual education and is passionate about bringing yoga + mindfulness into schools. She works closely with Empowered Minds, a local organization that brings yoga + mindfulness programs to Title 1 schools in Charleston. Katie is honored to be a part of this incredible Still Soul family!
Steven Willard has been a lifelong seeker. As a kid he would read Edgar Cayce and Shirley MacLaine. After years of working corporate and government jobs, he became a full time teacher. Steven has been teaching yoga after receiving his certification in 2006. Steven became a certified Spiritual Practioner and Counselor from Inspire Spiritual Community in Los Angeles in 2016. He believes in the practice of Ahimsa (non-harm) starts in ourselves, and that when we become proficient at that, we truly can change the world.
Franklyn Smith is a South Carolina Licensed Social Worker in clinical practice. She is a certified hypnotherapist who specialized in palliative care, grief recovery, trauma recovery, and stress management for clients of all ages. Throughout her life, Ms. Smith has developed her intuitive abilities to assist others in recognizing their spiritual nature. In her practice and international workshop presentations, she is recognized as a gifted facilitator of experiential exercises, particularly in the use of guided imagery as a modality for healing. Franklyn had co-faciliated healing tours to sacred sites in Egypt, Peru, Mexico, and New Mexico. Franklyn holds a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Psychology and an M.A. in Social Work from the University of South Carolina, is a Usui Reiki Master Teacher, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Elur Foundation, which supports cultural development for underpriveleged children.
Marcie Anderson, PhD., a former competitive athlete and athletic model, and now author, international teacher and healer, holds her PhD in Eastern Psychology and Spirituality after living, studying and practicing in India for more than 10 years. Marcie is a master in helping to bridge Western methods and practices with Eastern spiritual knowledge and soul healing techniques through specific programming. Marcie focuses mainly on helping individuals and groups through changes and transitions that prove too powerful or painful to do on his or her own. Working with the Five Elements, Marcie helps in healing destructive patterning in order to strengthen the soul. Marcie is the author of Meditation for Athletes, presented to each athlete at the London Summer Olympics, and her new book, Are We There Yet?... Enlightenment for Busy People. Marcie is a soul doctor and meditation specialist with over 15 years in practice.
Katie Ashley believes in living life on purpose. Through her writing, workshops and individual mentoring, Katie offers ancient teachings from a modern perspective in a way that is practical and inspiring. Her first book, Living Life on Purpose, was published in September 2016 to rave reviews. She has studied with some of the most renowned teachers in the disciplines of meditation, yoga, integrative movement therapy, and yoga therapy. In her work she blends knowledge of her lineage with personal insights gained through dedicated personal practice and experience mentoring students around the world. Her teachings offer her readers and students simple ways to bring their practice off the meditation cushion and into their lives. Jen Snyder is a College of Charleston graduate who has spent most of her life in the Holy City of Charleston, SC, raising her daughter, working with the family business, singing in several bands and authoring the HMS Log Book series. In 2013 Jen was called to create a journal that would provide a way to bring order, inspiration and accountability to the busy user. The first edition of the HMS Log Book launched in 2014 and is a one-of-a-kind guided experience with a unique fill-in-the-blank format. Jen offers workshops and group sessions that are designed to inspire a lasting self-care practice with the HMS Log Book as the foundation. She also works with young women in the local schools presenting her Female Empowerment Program, designed to bring teenagers into a safe space where they can accept all parts of themselves while learning new ways to support themselves and each other without judgement, shame or guilt.

The desire to help others heal themselves led Stephanie “Pixi” Morris down a path of learning many different healing modalities. After being a teacher herself at private schools in Memphis, TN and Charleston, SC for 8 years, she is passionate about educating + helping others. She has her masters in Education and has been a Kundalini Yoga Instructor for nearly a decade. She used Kundalini yoga and other modalities to help heal her seizure disorder. She is a certified Alchemical Creation High Priestess, a Reiki Master Teacher, Angel Card Reader, and is completing her aromatherapy & herbal certification. Kerry is a recent graduate of the College of Charleston, where she studied biochemistry and psychology. She was introduced to the mindfulness practice as a way to deal with anxiety and became intrigued by the neuroscience behind the ancient practices. She eventually helped developed a meditation club at the College where students and faculty gathered for weekly meditations and discussions. Her yoga practice was a driving force behind her immersion into the meditation practice and she currently teaches at a few local studios. Her second favorite hobby behind yoga and meditation is reading and she hopes to start a book sharing community at the studio.
Hillary Evans is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Certified Transpersonal and Interpersonal Hypnotherapist based in Charleston, SC. Hillary is a graduate of The Florida Institute of Hypnotherapy (FIH), licensed by the Florida Department of Education, the Florida Association of Postsecondary Schools and Colleges, and The American Council of Hypnotist Examiners (ACHE). From FIH, Hillary procured diplomas as a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, a Transpersonal Hypnotherapist and Interpersonal Hypnotherapist. She also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and an Associate in Applied Arts and Sciences Degree from Chamberlain School of Design.
